Hi - I posted the following information back in June of last year and no-one ever got back to me with a reply.  I still have the same problem arising.  When I check my action centre under maintenance I view the reliability  history section where I regularly get the following error message - can anyone please tell me what this is about?

Re: critical error

Do you have the BTWifi app installed on your device or any other BT app. It looks like it is a BT app that is crashing. If you do have a BT installed try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Re: critical error

There seems to a similar issue raised in microsoft  forum where some advice  was given by one of their volunteer moderators. Perhaps that could help

Re: critical error

The error you have now appears to be from an app from BooStudio. It may be a torrent downloader and may be a piece of malware.

I would run a malware scan on the computer and see what it picks up. If the malware scanner shows all clear you could try running sfc /scannow as indicated in the post by Zulu17 which should help detect any corrupted system files that could be causing the errors.

Re: critical error

Hi @cj3 and welcome back. It's been while since your last visit but it's great to see you again.

We're keen to learn about these types of problems so can you let me know if you've followed @gg30340  and @zulu17  advice and if it helped?

Thanks

David

Re: critical error

the sfc / scannow did not show any problems and I do not have any malware.  I deleted an app and a few folders that I thought could be a problem.  I have had no problems over the last few days but if the problem re-appears that I will perform a clean boot as you suggested.  Thanks for your help.
