The service has not been discontinued.
You will need to connected to BT Broadband to access any links I post which are hosted on my website..
If you are connected to BT Broadband, and you cannot access them, then please let me know on this thread. Thanks.
Thanks for your quick reply. I've already used 2email addresses on this. Luckily I have a 3rd one which I was able to use., and the set up went OK and I can use the SmartTalk app. Is there no way of deleting the previous IDs? Otherwise you need a new email address to set up SmartTalk each time you get a new phone? Is that right?
The additional BT ID does not have use on of your BT email addresses, it can be any email address.
Unfortunately the online management of SmartTalk is broken. If you did run out of email addresses, one of the moderators should be able to help.
I produced my guide to allow people to swap their phone as simply and as quickly as possible.
The main thing is that you now have your new phone working.
Thanks. How do I contact a moderator|?

It can be done via this forum, when the need arises. I assume that all is fine at the moment?
The old Service ID will eventually disappear on its own accord.
Yes. It's OK now. Thanks for your help. I'm just thinking ahead to when I next change my phone, and I've used all my 3 email addresses.
Just post on this forum when the need arises.
I've just transferred the SIM and apps to a new phone. I am completely stuck at the "This mobile phone's already linked to another BT SmartTalk service. See our online FAQ...." as I cannot find where at myBT to manage SmartTalk connections? (if that's a resolution.)
The various instructions bear no resembalnce to the current website.
I'm afraid not. I followed things religiously.
I have the old phone, removed SmartTalk, reinstalled it, started the app and a nice man called with an authorisation! Just what I didn't want.
