Support have just said "Bob , sorry to let you know that Smart Talk feature does not work anymore in MY BT you would need to contact our help desk at 0800 800 150" (!)

A lovely lady in BT Newcastle just told me that SmartTalk has been withdrawn. Bother, if that's true.
Those pages no longer appear on the BT website, so it looks like the service has now been withdrawn.
I suspect that it was probably due to the introduction of Wifi Calling on mobiles.
Grrr. SmartTalk was one of the main reasons I recently signed up for another extended landline contract. I would claim that it is a material change in the service I receive as I don't have and don't want to fork out for a new wifi-calling enabled device.
I have a holiday house with abysmal coverage and it was a salvation.
