Web Protect and Virus Protect and existing Antivirus software

Just connected with Infinity and trying to understand the "extras" that are part of my package. Will activating Web Protect and/or Virus Protect cause problems with my existing anti virus programme (Avast) ? Will i have to either uninstall Avast or decide not to activate Web Ptotect and Virus Protect? Also, how do i de-activate Parental Controls as it is already shown as being activated?

Re: Web Protect and Virus Protect and existing Antivirus software

You can only have one antivirus running on a computer. I would stick with Avast and not install BT/McAfee Virus Protect.

You can have web protect running at the same time as that is not installed on your computer. see link

You should be able to deactivate parental controls in the My Extras section of your MyBT
