BT WiFi with fon

I'm trying to log into a WiFi hotspot using my bt username & password, but it's not recognised. Is there a seperate username & password to use fon?

No it is your primary email address and password. It is case sensitive so make sure you are entering it correctly. I say this because you when  you log into your email it BTYahoo it is not case sensitive. Also make sure you are using the BTWifi BT broadband customer login part.

I stand corrected. I am sure I used to be able to log in in either case but I have just tried it and you are correct.,it is case sensitive.

Re: BT WiFi with fon

I think that is the problem with the ipad as I just tried mine and it capitalises the first letter of the sign in so when you try and login to BTWIFI it fails - change to lower case and sign in complete

Re: BT WiFi with fon

Now I always thought that it was case sensitive:smileyindifferent:

It was just on some devices you didn't need @btinternet.com as part of the username, just the first part of it (firstnamelastname)
