Agreed but sounds does have live radio on it so I am told.
I tend to use radio apps to listen to stations I can't receive locally (No DAB coverage where I live, for example) - one of my TV's has the Radioline app and it is great for internet and community stations, in the car I tend to use TuneIn.
agreed, tunein is very good.
Additionally VM has extra news apps such as aljazeera, cnn and WSJ. Al Jazeera there (the live channels) do have a red button prompt to load the al jazeera app when pressed.
I do wonder if more news/static content apps could be added? we did have the bbc news and sports apps and I know why those went.
VM operate a closed network so they can add apps via carriage agreements. Youview is an open network so apps will normally be added to all boxes including retail ones which makes it trickier
very true.
Well I went and bought an Apple TV, so now I have more apps than subscriptions...lol.
I still prefer my BT box watchlists etc. but Apple is a nice backup. I have Discovery + and CI which is great until such time they are coming to BT.
