Accurate recordings on the Pro tv box

I had a series link recording set up for Match Officials Mic’d  Up on TNT Sports 1 HD last night. The programme did not actually start until 10:55pm although it was due to start at 10pm. I’ve got a recording from 10:55-11:30pm which means that I’ve got the whole programme that I wanted, but the box seems to think that it’s only provided me with a partial recording.

Re: Accurate recordings on the Pro tv box

@Brucemeister5 Has it rescheduled a further  recording  attempt  for the same episode assuming it is to be rebroadcast.  ( As I think that is what Youview would/should if considers that only a partial recording  was made.).

@zulu17 Yes, it has. TNT Sports 1 HD at 10:30am and TNT Sports 2 HD at 7pm on Saturday.

Re: Accurate recordings on the Pro tv box

My opinion  is that the way that the schedules and broadcasts of the Snooker  World  Championship on the linear TNT sports channels on EETV are being managed is  likely  to cause issues with respect to recording. It is not a straightforward  event to broadcast and schedule as the live  match timings are very variable. Perhaps they would be better  off with just a dedicated  channel.

Re: Accurate recordings on the Pro tv box

@zulu17 Yes, that’s a good point. I had already recorded and watched an earlier broadcast of the programme on Sky Sports that evening which I set up as a single episode. I kept the TNT recording on my box so as not to disrupt the series link. I was pleasantly surprised the following morning to find that it had picked up the programme when it had started so much later than the scheduled time. The partial recording aspect was an additional intrigue.
