BT Pro Bluetooth Remote and LG TV Power

I have a new-to-me BT Pro YouView box, and did the Bluetooth remote TV pair thing with my 22” LG tv, by connecting the HDMI cable and pressing Home and 9, it now will do the TV volume ok, and source, but I was lead to believe that when I press the power button on the YouView remote it should turn both the box and the TV on and off.

Mine doesn’t turn the TV on/off. Any tips or is my TV just not compatible?

PS noticed when you do the Home/9 method the remote seems to lost its Bluetooth connection for a short period and only works by pointing the remote at the box, but this doesn’t last long.

@davidmbell   Hi did you try a 'long' press of the power button.  Just a little tap will only turn off the BT Pro Box, which is actuall quite useful if you are then going to use the TV on a different input source.
