BT Pro Box Can't Watch A Watched Programme Twice?

My wife watched an episode of a series, the status is now "Watched"

When I try to watch it I get the message:

The recording has ended.

Press OK to play the next available episode

or press BACK

Why can't I watch the episode?

Pressing the Back key as instructed should reset the recording to play again.
