BT Pro Box will not control my TV

Just got my new Pro box replacing my old 4k version. 

All works fine except the new remote will not control my TV.

According to the manual a long press should turn off my TV (Like my Sky Q box) and control the volume. Neither of these things happen. I've rebooted the box and tried the Home+9 button trick to re-pair the remote to the TV, neither of these things worked.

TV is a Hisense HE65K5510UWTS bought in 2017

Any ideas? Is there no option to manually input a TV code?

Sorry that you're having a problem controlling your TV with the BT TV remote. Have you followed the steps in How Do I Control My TV With My BT TV Remote Control to set up your remote?

I have tried the Home+9 method suggested, but it still does not work.

Seems crazy that I have to use 2 remotes when the old 4K box remote would do everything

My BT Pro Box Controller will not connect to my TV either even though I have tried the Home+9 reset and the box is connected to the TV via an HDMI cable.  

It's very frustrating to have to use 2 controllers - when will this be solved, do you know?
