Hi,
Wanting to change my tv package to big sports ( £35 per month) once I did that, they wanted to charge me £11 per month extra for freeview and how do I avoid that charge, because it has never happen to me before and I don’t want to pay for freeview because I pay my tv licensed.
Thank you if you are able to answer.
Well I’m tempted to quit BT tv, because when I tires to switch package to Big sport £35 per month, they wanted to charge me £11 per month for freeview, why should I pay for freeview as I pay for my tv licensed. If they don’t change this by next year I will quit BT tv and look at other options for the boardband….
I’m with BT as I have BT boardband and TV but when I first signed up for them 2 years ago I never has to pay for freeview….
the free to air channels are available with a BT Tv package. They are not charged for , but if you want to receive them in IP mode on a Bt TV Box Pro you must have an active BT Tv package.
If £35 is the offer price for Big Sport then if you are seeing a higher figure This may be down to you opting for some addons to that pack or the promotion discount not being applied at that point. Have you opted for HD/4K or Now Boost adds on for example in your order ?
Which package are you currently on @Footiemad11 ? Big Sport is currently on offer for £35 but my understanding is that it would not be available to current BTTV customers who were wishing to flex their package. You would need to pay the current standard price for Big Sport. What were you actually told? This may be affected by recent changes to pricing of Netflix packages, as the basic package has been withdrawn, but it was included with the Entertainment and Big Entertainment packages on BTTV.
