BTTV Costs

I currently have the Entertainment package (including Netflix with no adverts) with a very good discount. However, that ends on 24th January so I am looking at my options.

It looks as if to renew that package (with no adverts on Netflix) would cost around £24 (plus the £2 increase every March). On the other hand, I could get Netflix (with no adverts) for £12.99 and NowTv Entertainment for £4.99 on a 12 month contract, so just under £18 in total.

As I understand it, I can only cancel my TV contract by ringing up, so does anyone know if there is a specific number to ring? Also, does anyone know how much notice I have to give?

Re: BTTV Costs

Just be aware that you will not be able to view and record via the EPG if you go direct with Now. You will only be able to use the Now app.

Re: BTTV Costs

I don’t have EE TV , but when I had BTTV a few years ago, Discovery + was included , that to buy separately is £4 , so if your price to purchase Now TV and Netflix is £18 ,compared to £24 to renew with EETV  , presumably you need to add £4 to the £18 for a more accurate comparison between them …obviously £22 is still less than £24 but clearly not as much of a saving , you may not want or need (or even get ) Discovery + , in my case it was via an app,  not via the programme guide on the BTTV box , EETV may be different, but if it’s part of the deal it should be included for comparison purposes
