On this page:-

there is a comparison of the two boxes, part of which says:-
Would some kind soul like to fix these issues?
How pedantic do you have to be all the time? 🙂
For point 3 it's pretty obvious the pause time on the mini is shorter as it's under the heading "How does the mini box differ"
Precision requires that I draw your attention to:-
https://www.bt.com/help/tv/learn-about-tv/bt-tv-boxes
where both the Box Pro and the Box Mini are reported to allow pause and rewind for up to two hours.
So either that’s wrong, or difference 3 is actually no difference at all.
I don’t have a Box Mini. So can only speculate.
upto two hours for both boxes doesn’t mean that the boxes perform identically as depending on the channel broadcast quality the available buffer area on the mini would be filled sooner for some channels than others whereas. the Box Pro had the hard drive so has the option to allocate more space to accommodate .
I believe apps may differ between the Box Pro and Mini.

I have two. But that puts me no nearer to an answer than your speculation does 😢
Indeed so. I wonder if there has been any movement on this since then?
I suppose we could look to see if the Prime app on the Box Pro now supports the FAST channels….
@Midnight_Voice From my personal perspective the two main frustrations/limitations with the current Box Pro Prime Video app are
1) the absence of the FAST channels
2) the absence of pause/rewind when watching live sport such as their exclusive Tuesday Champions League matches.
