Don't return any new HomeHub that might get sent as if yours fails you've got a replacement on hand rather than maybe 3 or 4 days to get a replacement.
I'm a follower of the "It'll come in handy" brigade. 😀
And not the punctuation brigade. 😂😂😂

Update re installing BT TV Box Pro
I installed the box yesterday using the Home Hub 5 and all went perfectly.
So far everything is working as it should so unless something unexpected happens i can only conclude that it is not absolutely necessary to change the router to the latest Smart hub
