According to Radio Times, Sky Sports Action is showing the first week's NFL games. According to the guide on the BT Box, they're not. This needs investigating or correcting.
@MartinJSUK I think that the NFL coverage for the new season has only recently been confirmed with broadcasters so in this particular example the initial Sky (Now) schedules will have been produced ahead of the announcement of the coverage deal. So there should be updates coming - as i believe sky have now confirmed their schedule of games as I can see them listed on some tv guides. With the extra games Sky has you will probably see different full games on different channels eg Sky Sports Action/Plus as well as Red Zone coverage, Note that 5 and 5 action will also have games .
I can see that EETV are updating some of the NFL programming but currently it is a mess so give then more time before scheduling any recordings of the new season.
My impression is the Sky Sports Action schedules are incorrect from 6am tomorrow 1st September. it looks from other listings that Sky Sports Action will be focusing on on NFL programming from that time. Other SKY sports channels will also have NFL programming due to simulcasting and having multiple NFL streams at various times.
Well inaccurate EPG on EETV for Sky Sports Action today onwards as the process of updating remains inadequate.
I'd like to congratulate your EPG team for inventing a means to show programs before they've happened. Apparently Sky Sports F1 is showing 'F1:Azerbaijan Grand Prix Sunday' between 12.30pm and 3pm next Saturday. It'll actually be the qualifying session. This might sound funny, but the reality is that, if I set this to record, it will fail to record, as the software will consider the corrected title to be a totally different programme. One more thing to remember during the week, to check it every day until it's put right. This evening's Premier League game also dropped out of being set to record for similar reasons, luckily I've noticed in time. I'm paying for a 7-day EPG, I expect to be able to set my planner a full week in advance.
And I've just noticed that the EPG thinks that West Ham and Tottenham are about to play each other again, for the second time today. It's actually Brentford v Chelsea coming up. One that didn't get spotted or fixed, which at least means that it should record for everyone who selected it.
It is relevant if the cause of the issue needs to be identified so it can be resolved.
A conspiracy theorist would claim that it is a way of Sky subtly sabotaging the service provided by a rival.
