I have an Apple TV box and a BT/EE broadband subscription. I'd like to add an EE TV subscription and watch those channels via my existing Apple box. I don't want another set top box as we already have one and that's just wasteful. Can I order a TV subscription and not have the box sent to me?
You’re posting on the BT Community board. If you want to add an EETV subscription, the only way to have the option of the Apple TV box subscription is if you have EE broadband.
And adding to what @Brucemeister5 says, the only way to have EETV on an AppleTV is to have the AppleTV box supplied by EETV, which is coded and has a special remote.
You can’t have it on your own standard retail AppleTV box 😢
Thanks both. I posted here as I have BT broadband and was trying to get EE TV added to that.
Luckily I've figured out that to get what I really wanted (TNT Sports) there is a separate option to add that to my BT Broadband to £20pm. But it's really not very easy to find on the site!
It's working fine. I was already using the Discovery+ app on my Apple TV box.
@liquorvicar That’s good. There had been reports on here of people not being able to get that £20pm offer to work online, and if they phoned up the agent was not able to assist either.
