Do EE offer aerial installation and at what price please , as we are in a new build house which has no tv aerial and would like a wider range of channels with EE tv - our boxes arrive in 2 weeks time
I don't think they do, I don't remember being asked if I had an aerial installed or not when I was ordering TV. You will have to get a local aerial person to install one.
Or you can watch the freeview channels via internet mode instead, here's a list of all the channels you will have access to:
Oh, I was wrong sorry. BT/EE is actually partnered with aerial installers!
You can order one for £30:
Are you ordering EE TV as an EE customer or as a BT customer ? [ Will EE or BT be your broadband supplier.)
There is a existing process and arrangement with TSG for BT orders.
Whether there is a comparable service available for orders for EE TV direct with EE is unclear ?
The site seems to say that they provide for EE too.
"We've partnered with aerial install specialists Total Support Group (TSG) who provide an aerial install service to EE TV customers."
The site you are referring to is a BT site not an EE site . EE TV packages are still sold by BT.
The legacy (BT) arrangement with TSG may or may not be available with EE ?
The new EE EETV devices are all designed to function without need of an aerial and I believe only the Box Pro is able to take an aerial feed as an alternative to IP mode.
Okkk that is confusing if they have indeed done it that way! 😮 Only one way to find out for sure though right? Can't hurt for the OP to contact them and ask.
P.S: When I go to the actual EE TV page, (About Aerial and Internet Modes on EE TV) the aerial section of it just links back up to the BT/EE TV page I linked above... which is even more confusing... so idk🤷
Our Bt contract is ending so taking the new bb and tv option with EE.
the house wiring is there for an aerial but I believe the coax runs to the loft with no actual aerial connected at the moment so it would need to be installed in the loft - for £30 it is well worth it for the extra channels on Freeview if EE still provide the option for £30
I believe as your order is with EE then
apply. I would expect if the aerial install option were available it’s standard cost would be listed as a price in those EE price guides. I don’t see that charge appearing there but then I am less familiar with EE documentation.
(BT has its own Consumer Price guide which in its latest 12 Jan 2024 update still includes an Aerial Installation price).
it is possible that the BT experts here may be able to enquire but you may need to enquire direct with EE or ask on

You said ‘boxes’. Maybe that’s a Pro box and a router, or maybe it is one or more Multiroom boxes. In which case, ensure you make the right choice, if it is offered, between the EE TV Box Mini and the TV Box.
Only the latter can take an aerial input and give you the full range of Freeview channels, but it is older technology than the IP-only Box Mini.
