Re: Missing Freeview HD Channels

Hi @acecarver

  • Firstly if you plug your aerial  directly  into  your TV are you able using the TV's own tuner to receive  the Freeview  channels that you cannot get on your set top box.

Which Freeview  transmitter do you think you should be receiving your channels from ?

Re: Missing Freeview HD Channels

if i plug the ariel directly into my sony tele and select TV instead of extension d-  HDMI,  all i get is snow on the screen and a number 11 in top right corner, i've looked for a channel tuning icon but there isn't one. TV is over 10 years old.

@acecarver

That sounds like analogue tuning. Does your TV do digital at all? Try a full retune and see what you get.

Re: Missing Freeview HD Channels

an alternative approach

if your broadband is fast enough (22Mb or more)   then as your Freeview transmitter seems to be one of the Freeview Lite ones with a reduced number of channels then talking to BT and switching to the Box Pro and using  it in IP mode should give you more free to air channels (than Freeview Lite),
