Paramount plus

Noticed that when I play paramount plus shows .they have been automatically going in to my tv ..but shows have no thumbnails and say expired

Thanks for coming to the community. 

Have you tried restarting the TV and router to see if this helps? 

Do you have the Paramount+ app? Are you able to try watching a Paramount+ show on another device to see if the same happens?

@Tomjeffrey20  just to clarify  is this  occurring in the watchlist section  of th MyTv on a Box Pro after watching a programme  on the Paramount + app on the box pro  ?

Yes that's correct...I do belive it's a new feature .as its only just started doing it ...and you can now search stuff on paramount plus on the ee search

  • @Tomjeffrey20 my observations  are that expired  EETV Watch List items from a range of apps often have blank thumbnails.  My observations  are that if a search is used on the EETV  Box  and it returns a result that offers an ondemand programme on the Paramount app you can elect to add it to the EETV Box watchlist  and if you do so the tile has the correct image. ( A couple of example searches were for MAGPIE and 1923 both currently  on Paramount+).
  • I don't  have a current  subscription  to Paramount + so I cannot replicate  the scenario  that watching a programme  on that app adds an "expired" entry  to the EETV  Watch  List.
  • It was always expected  that Paramount  would enhance the basic  app to integrate  more fully with Youview so your experience suggests that this is occurring. Would be interesting  if other Paramount + subscribers are experiencing  the same  on EETV Box.
  • Other than a soft restart of the box I wouldn't recommend  any resets of your box as it is most  likely an issue over which we users have no control and will require EETv to liaise  with Youview/Paramount to address.

Please could you confirm some examples of the content that you've experienced this with and when you watched them/when they were added to Watch List so we can get this looked into? Can you also confirm whether the issue resolves or if the thumbnails remain blank?
