Are you using an aerial, or have you got your Pro box in IP Mode?
If an aerial, you pull the aerial cable out of the YouView box, plug it into the attenuator, and then plug the attenuator into the YouView box.
Then you pick a channel on the YouView box that breaks up, go to Settings/ Signal Strength & Quality, and turn the knurled wheel on the attenuator until the Quality drops below 100%. Then you turn it back a little, to get the Quality back to 100%.
Then you try watching the channel, to see if it is now OK.
