Stopping a recording on BT TV Pro box

I have recently updated my BT TV Box to the ‘Pro’ model. If I record a program and replay it later I can find no way of stopping the replay altogether before its’ end. Pressing the Play/Pause button pauses the playback but does not stop it so that if I choose to delete it I get the message something like ‘can not delete as the program is still playing’. Any ideas? Thanks. John

The remote supplied with the BT TV Pro box  has fewer buttons than earlier box remotes so it doesn’t have a stop button  

So in this case you need to press Back button instead .

Hi I was just having a similar issue, I could not stop a recording that was playing.  Using the back button did not stop the recording. Even when at the end of the recording you are instructed to use it, nothing happened. The back button works on everything else and used to stop recordings playing.

I managed to get it to work again by using the guide button,  selecting a TV channel then going back to playing the recording, the back button suddenly works again!
