TV Box Pro Remote issue

My TV Box Pro remote has suddenly started misbehaving when it comes to turning the TV on 😞

Has worked fine for a good couple of years (if not longer) ..

Now, it only turns the LG Smart TV (approx 1 year, old with up-to date firmware) when it feels like it.  Turns it off every time though.

I've changed the batteries, reset the remote, re-sync'd the remote - but it still plays up intermittently.

By comparison, my FireStick remote and Apple TV Remote work just fine - leading me to think I have a possibly faulty / failing TV Box Pro remote ..

Any thoughts ?  I bought my TV Box Pro privately maybe 2 or 3 years ago, so can't ring up BT and ask for a new one.  There's always eBay I guess ..

See if the problem is only with turning on and other remotes work fine, most likely the TV Box Pro remote is starting to fail. You probably need to replace the BT accessories or use a second hand option, for example eBay.

Mate just treat yourself to a universal remote.

Yes..they're called one for all...some are backlite as well.
