That reset procedure doesn't work on mine either. However, it appears that you can simply repeat the process for adding a TV code (TV+TV/AV) to try a new one.
Thanks.
I've tried a different code as suggested but the volume buttons still don't work without pressing AD at the same time.
Perhaps I'll have to do this. It's not too much of a hassle.
Two questions:
On your old youview remote were the volume and mute buttons OK for you?
On your old yoview remote did you use it to power your TV of and on, or to change its HDMI source?
Yes, the buttons worked on my old remote but I didn't use it to switch the TV on and off. I used the Toshiba remote for that.
Do the older boxes have the option in settings for the remote to control either the box or the TV?
Is this a genuine BT replacement remote, bought new? Or secondhand? Or maybe a knock-off?
First thing to do is check the batteries - get your phone, point the remote at its camera, press the On/standby button on the remote. Can you see flickering coming from the end of the remote when you look on the phone screen?
If not, check the batteries. But if you see the flickering, skip the reset, try going straight into programming the remote, trying the Toshiba code first. And if the remote takes it but still doesn’t work like it should, try the Vestel code.
Let us know how you get on!
(AAMOI, what happened to the original remote?)
This remote has the TV and TVAV buttons on the remote to do that with. Nothing in Settings, and no need for it either.
Sorry, I thought that the BT instructions for resetting the BT Slim Line remote had been corrected.
To reset the BT Slim Line remote try holding the AD, SUB and BT Player buttons at the same time for 5 seconds.
There are slightly different variations of the BT Slim Line remote. Trying it on 4 of them, all 4 were reset using that combination of buttons.
Thanks. I reset the remote using your instructions and it works fine. I didn't connect it to the TV as I hadn't connected the old one and I'm quite happy switching on/off with the Toshiba remote.
Some of the buttons on the old one were not working properly - fast forward/play/rewind and the volume buttons. It was frustrating trying to use it.
Thank-you to all of you @rbz5416 as well for your help. Much appreciated.

Please would it be possible for these instructions to reset the Slim Line remote be corrected?

It currently stating that AD, SUB and Power buttons reset the remote, but it is AD, SUB and BT Player buttons that successfully reset remotes RC3124701, RC3124703 , RC3124705. (Presumably for the equivalent Plusnet remotes it is the MyView (RC3124702, RC3124704) or MyTV ( RC3124706) that should be used instead of the Power button when resetting. )
Although the Slim Line remotes are not Bluetooth, they still have a use for the EE TV Pro box, for those who like the additional remote functions, or for those where the EE TV Pro remote auto setup does not recognise the TV but the Slim Line does.
