Re: TV

Hi @KeithM2

In aerial mode the Frreview ITV channels will be  viewable with a working aerial.

in IPmode some freetoair  ITV channels are delivered by multicast when subscribing to an EETV  package using the box on a BT or EE broadband (subscription required) .

The ITVX  player on the Box Pro does not provide live channels or the extra live streams (although it may provide ondemand versions of the content)

Re: TV

My aerial signal is very weak so I just wondered if the pro box would stream itv live to save me getting a new aerial. Thanks for your response, I thought this was the case but just wanted to check.

Re: TV

Easiest way is to just buy a Manhattan Freely box which will give you all the Freeview channels, including the live 5 main channels, over your broadband connection, for a one-off payment of about £60. No need for any subscription payments after that, unless of course you also want Netflix and other pay services like Amazon Prime.

Re: TV

The good thing about the pro box is you can access freeview over wifi..avoiding using a tv aerial all together

Re freely

It doesn't have all the same channels as freeview many are absent

The Manhattan freely box must be good as it's literally always sold out and extremely difficult to get your hands on one.
