Taking EE TV as BT Broadband Customer

Go to solution

I currently have BT Broadband with approx 9 months of contract remaining.

My BT TV contract has lapsed.

I am interested in EE TV for their Apple TV box and additional multi room boxes at no extra cost. The bb and tv packages also seem to be a bit cheaper overall

If I take EE TV, what happens to my broadband? Does it get converted to EE Broadband for a new 24 month contract?

@solusoracle The Apple TV and free multiroom version of EE TV is only available from EE directly with EE broadband and a new contract.

There is a transfer process in place, but it requires a call to BT or a visit to an EE store.

Exactly that.  No penalty on leaving your BT contract - just a new EE contract for 24 months.  As @stereohaven has mentioned, it can currently only be done over the phone or in an EE store.
