300K web-based email limit

Up until this morning (090720) I used to use Printkey2000 to make screengrabs that were useful to put into emails.  That no longer works as there appears to be a 300K limit on emails meaning that I have scrapped at least three emails so far today - this 'improvement' was imposed on me as I in no way asked for it and the screengrabs worked just fine up until yesterday - any suggestions to a method that worked similar to the previous way would be welcome.

There is not a 300K limit on emails, there is a 300K limit on embedded images. You can send the images as attachments.

Re: 300K web-based email limit

I've been sending embedded images for years and most other web-based email clients do this without a problem - thanks for the attachment idea but it would be to cumbersome and remove spontaneity so I'll just motor on until BT fix the problem that they have introduced into their web-based email client - very, very inconvenient as I (and as I guess other users) were in no way consulted over such a dramatic change to our service - one that we pay for. Thanks once again, if pushed I'd use an email attachment, but in the majority of cases that's very unlikely.

Re: 300K web-based email limit

I used the new BT Mail earlier this morning in order to edit a message I began composing yesterday. The message contains just text and URLs, no pictures. I was unable to save the message because of this apparent limitation. I managed to communicate with BT via Chat and asked why this limitation should appear without warning. I also informed them that I was a Premium user in case it made any difference.  I was informed that this limitation should not apply and they could not understand why I was having a problem. I was told that the technical department would be made aware.

Good one and thanks for giving us encouragement by posting, I hope you get sorted out - pictures I could vaguely understand - 'ordinary' messages I can't - with you being a Premium user you think that would well dealt with by now if it needed dealt with at all.

Re: 300K web-based email limit

There is nothing premium about Premium mail. It is just the name given to the stand alone mail product for customers that do not have a BT broadband account. It is exactly the same service as everyone else has.

I agree. There is nothing Premium about the service. The only difference is the monthly charge. Today is a new day and the 300k problem still exists.
