Been unable to send emails for over 24 Hours, I used email via web browser and the error is occuring when logged in on multiple devices
Error code is 553 Sorry your email could not be delivered due to content policy reasons. Please check your message content for URLs, content and subject matter that could be construed as Malware, Spam or Phishing before retrying
Tried live chat help and they weren't much help and it remains unresolved.
Any ideas how to fix, have some important emails I need to reply to!
Hi @mb98 welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm sorry to see you're having problems sending emails as I appreciate the inconvenience this must be causing you.
Does this happen on all emails or only when sending or forwarding one email in particular?
Do you use a VPN and are you currently in the UK, I've seen more reports of this error recently when customers are on a connection where the IP address is on a blacklist for spamming?
Did the chat team advise you they were sending this on to email specialists to investigate?
This occurs with all emails, no vpn and I am in the UK.
I spoke with help on the phone this morning and they have passed it to their backroom team to look at .
Hi @mb98 if there is an issue with the spam filters marking your emails incorrectly it will need to go to email specialists. It normally takes them around 24 hours to respond and I'm sorry it wasn't possible to fix it when you were speaking to the help team, post back and let me know how you get on.
