554 Message rejected for policy reasons

I have a company gmail account. We have recently switched to BT broadband (not sure if this is relevant). Suddenly all emails that I send to any email address ending @btinternet.com are being rejected with the above error message - even the postmaster one! Please can anyone help. I am not sending bulk mails, just individual ones, sometimes replies.
