1. I am the account holder with the btinternet.com account
2. My Partner who also has a btinternet.com mail is unable to access their Mail Account.
3. I went into MYBT Account and can confirm they are still registered under Friends and Family with their correct named account.
4. How des my Partner see/ recover his emails ??
Solved! Go to Solution.
What happens when your partner tries to log on at this page?
This is how I seemed to have overcome this problem !!:
1. Log in to MY side of the computer, open Browser, go to My Favourites, DELETE BT MAIL FAVOURITES
2. Log In to My BT > Log in to my BT Mail> Two Step Authentification Occurs> Am back into MY Mail> In Browser ADD NEW FAVOURITE BT MAIL PAGE TO FAV LIST> Now All Working on my side of the Computer
MY PARTNER
1. Log in to his side of the Computer> Go to Favourites>Remove the BTMail Quick Start> Type in Browser BT.COM>Page appears requesting HIS email Address>add Password to his address> Activate Input > His Emails On his side of the computer APPEARS !!> Go to Browser, Add NEW Email Page as favourite> To check it works, Remove Email Page, Activate the NEW Favourite added for BTMail > His Email Page is uploaded All is working !!
I remember reading something somewhere about deleting Favourites BT Mail when the change does occur but I had no pre warning or advice what to do !!
Hope this MAY work for others with the same problem I have reported here
What you have done is more or less what the instructions are in the log on page link I posted along with the addition of two factor authentication.
The page I linked to has the following message from BT on it.
It may be the case that your email log on page has already changed and as a result you will not be shown this message.
