Access to old emails

Hi all,
I stopped using my BT email address around 15 years ago when I moved house. I kept the same BT account/landline phone number and am still using those. How can I now access those old emails? When I enter the email address and password I used back in the day, BT tells me they aren't recognised.

Re: Access to old emails

Your email address will have been deleted long ago I'm afraid if you haven't used it.

Re: Access to old emails

Oh—thanks for the info. I had thought for some reason the emails would be stored on BT as long as I held an account.

Re: Access to old emails

If the email address isn't accessed for 90 days it is suspended, after a further 60 days it is deleted if not reactivated.

Re: Access to old emails

Thank you for the info.

I must say that seems pretty harsh—someone might be taken into hospital, for example…

Re: Access to old emails

I'd hardly call 5 months with no activity harsh.
