Log onto your email and go to the settings then Signature. When adding it try selecting Format > Rich > select it as your default if that is what you want then click save.

Re: Adding html signature to email

I have set up a test signature with multiple links to various websites and it was sent and received without problem.

Just to confirm when setting it up.

Go to Settings > Mail > Signature > Tick box "Include signature" > select where you want the signature > Click "Add" > select or not "Set as Default" > Format "Rich"  although I have also checked and a link will still go if "Plain" is selected.

Give the signature a name > Insert link or what ever your signature is going to into the signature box. Click save.

It could be that your antivirus program is stripping out your signature.

When i insert link & send it, the sender receives the link i put into signature & not the actual footer that is made up in the link?

i presume you put link in signature box & not the link tab?
