The only BT employees on this forum are clearly identified as moderators or specialists, and the rest are generally customers. Why is it that some people think that nobody but BT staff can possibly disagree with them?
No, nor am I defending them. Just pointing out that you are not forced to use the mail system that BT choose to employ.
You don't, it's just an option if you want to because you don't have to use the BT email system.
If you are happy with what you have stick with it, if you are not happy you can of course go to another provider. Just make sure you check who provides their email service and how secure their email system is. They have virtually all been hacked or had data breaches at some point.
I took my own advice and wrote to the top and received the following reply:
I can confirm that we are continuing to transfer our customers over from BT Yahoo Mail to the BT Mail platform.
This isn’t something that can be done overnight and will be done in batches to ensure all is done correctly.
I then checked my email account and both addresses are now on BT Mail.
How did you check?
When you log onto your BT email via webmail what does the BT Logo show. Is there any mention of Yahoo?
That method is faulty and is giving false readings. You need to log onto your email via webmail and check the logo.
If you were migrated there is a further procedure that you would have to go through in order to complete the migration which if you have not done it means you are still on BTYahoo.
