So received a message about the changes on webmail. I can login on both my personal email and also on my email that manages the rest of the BT platform I use. I think thats the right terminology.
Sadly I was unable to log out of my management email and hence not log into my personal email. I seem to be logging in ok but the system gets confused when i log out. I was using this earlier and all was fine until the system was logged out automatically and I got the 3 page message that details the changes.
Not sure if this affects anyone else using webmail.

So this may not help you @Filosopher but it seems to be working ok again for me. Since they have only just released it - i'm guessing that of course - I was logged in and it logged me out and forced their note regarding the new login rule (I use that term losely).
Anyway for the moment my system has stabilised - famous last words ... 😉
@Filosopher what happens when you try to log in via the website? www.bt.com/email Are you getting an error message?

Yes, user name and password not recognised. I can access them via My Bt or via my linked Gmail account.
Hi @Filosopher there is no BT email app for Windows or Mac's as you should be able log in to BT email using a browser.
Have you tried logging in to webmail using in private mode?
