Attempting to add a Gmail account to BT email crashes the web interface.

I can see that community posts say that this option works but not for me.
The password field was greyed out with no error message and being lazy I attempted to save what I had entered so far and this caused the page to crash with the following raw data:

How does someone report this type of error as all the help scenarios do not cover this?

This is a known problem with BTMail currently.

I'm having the same problem and the person who answered my call at BT said what did I expect, of course you can't get your google mail on the BT page. He said this page is only for adding associated emails such as btinternet.com or talk21, can any one tell me if I will ever be able to add the gmail account?

I suspect the intention is for it to work when they fix the problem, however, why would you want to?  Why not collect your BT mail on the Gmail page instead if you want all your mail in one place.
