Hi all, i have a couple of questions i wanted to get some help with. Seems easier to list them but i am due to leave BT for another provider and looking to keep my email addresses i have setup. I will be looking to get BT Premium email as i'd like to use email clients such as Outlook.
1. I have a couple of email accounts which show up on "Your Email Accounts" and the option to "Add to BT ID", do i need to have these added to ensure when i move over to premium email i only pay the monthly fee once for all the accounts i have or will they still be able to use them if i don't do this under the same billing?
2. As above but with the remaining email addresses linked to my BT ID, they are all my family members but i have had to switch off 2 factor auth to stop getting prompted for a code when they are used on new devices. What options do i have if i want to keep 2FA for all email accounts bearing in mind me moving to premium email/leaving BT.
If you have not "gifted" the email accounts to your family and they do not have their own BTID it means that the email accounts are still managed by you and when you start paying for a BT Premium email account all your email accounts that are presently active in your MyBT will still be yours to manage which includes 2FA.
All email accounts that you have in your MyBT will be moved onto your BT Premium email account

If your family email accounts were "gifted" the recipients would have accepted the email accounts and set up their own BTID and MyBT which would have allowed them to manage the email account without any input from you and they would be able to set up 2FA .
As it would appear that you have not as yet "gifted" the email accounts I would leave things as they are until such time you have "moved" to BT Premium email. Once that has been completed, you should then "gift" the email accounts to each your family members who would need to accept them and set up their own BTID and MyBT and they would then be responsible for the management of their own email account including 2FA, albeit you are footing the bill.
See link about how to "gift" email accounts.

ok, thanks for clearing up the doubt. Just very confusing, just seems like it has been made more confusing then it needs to be.
When i did try and gift a email and try and then use a existing BT ID it simply doesn't work even after filling in the required details. I had to give up and hope for the best but as long as all the email accounts under my BT account can be moved over under a single bill that's fine. I can then try again to enable 2FA with maybe a test account with it's own BT ID and hope it still is under a single bill.
