BT Email

I logged in to the new BT Email did what I had to do then closed the page, on opening the page later I had to Log In again, this is happening all the time unlike the old way once logged in I could open and close the page and still be logged in. Is there an option to 'Stay Logged In' that I've missed or is this just BT being BT?

Re: BT Email

The box to tick to stay logged in has been removed.  From a security point of view this option was ill advised and should not have been there. It may come back but it is always advisable to logout after having done what you need to.

An email client is far safer and convenient to use and logging in to webmail should only be used when there is no alternative.

Re: BT Email

It is back. See a couple of other forum threads and under WEBMAIL on this page.

Couldn't agree more about email clients.

Because they tick the box when on a public computer despite being told not to?

Oliver.

If its this link, then its working fine, as other people are accessing it.

The new BT Mail and calendar

You wont be able to access it from your workplace (In Newark maybe Smiley Wink), is that is what you are trying to do. You will have to wait until you are connected to your BT Broadband line.
