Over the past few weeks I have been receiving a lot of spam emails to my inbox. Before this problem Spam/Junk emails would go straight to my Spam folder. I have contacted BT but they say I have to block the sender. I am getting around 20 spam emails a day now. What BT failed to understand was that 2 weeks ago these were going straight to my Spam folder. I have contacted BT twice now and each time they have said they will forward my complaint to Level 2 team but no-one from BT contacts me about this problem. Does anyone have any idea why this has suddenly started happening?
If they were going into your spam folder they weren't what would be considered 'definite' spam or you wouldn't have received them at all. They would have been classified by the spam filters as indertimate and for the user to decide. The spam filters have now decided that they are not spam at all.
Are they really spam or what could be called self inflicted mails from legitimate sources that you have inadvertently allowed to send mails?
They are definitely spam emails! Could this function be switched off?
