BT Mail not sending on iPhone 14

I have had issues for about 3 weeks now with sending my mail from the apple mail app.  I used to use this with no issues.  I started to get issues and deleted the account from my phone and added it again.   I can receive my mail but not reply to them.

I know this is just a settings issue and I am wondering if anyone can help with these settings.  I can logon to the web and send / receive from there but not on my phone.  Mail sits in the outbox.

I have changed my password and updated it on the phone after I re-installed the account.  

Can anyone help ?

Are you presently a BT Broadband customer or are you paying for your email through a BT Premium email account?

If neither of the above your email account may have been downgraded to a BTMail Basic account which can not be used with an email client or email app.

Hi,

I am not a BT broadband user.  I’d like to try to get the setting to use the Mail app on the IPhone.  I have all my other accounts on this.  Is it possible to to help with this ?

As per my previous message, if you are not a BT Broadband customer or paying for your BTMail account you can NOT use your BTMail account on an email app.  You  can ONLY use it with a web browser.

Hi,

It's been going on about 3 to 4 weeks.  I can receive emails but not reply to them.  If I log on to the web mail side then everything is fine.  I have had a go at the outgoing settings on my iphone but I don't want to mess about with them too much as I don't know what I'm doing.

Did you bother to read my previous posts!

You can NOT use your BTMail email account on your iPhone app.

It may receive emails but you can not send them. There are NO settings that you can change to make it work. If you want to do that you will need to become a BT Broadband customer or pay for a BT Premium email account.

There is nothing further to add to this!
