We have put together a short survey to capture your feedback in terms of what BT can do when you experience home Wi-Fi issues. We would appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey. Read more from here, Fix my home Wi-Fi
I have an old btopenworld.com e-mail that I have had and used for years.
I'm no longer a bt customer ( not been for years) and when I go to log in to my emails it tells me:
We've protected your account for your security
When I take the steps to recover it, I can't as it wont recognise me details as I'm not customer.
I've just been on hold for over 40 minutes then got cut off at exactly 9pm when the phonelines closed!
Cany anyone give me any advice to log back in please?
If you are no longer a BT Broadband customer or paying for your email with a BT Premium email account your email account has probably been deleted by BT.
Yes. You could try contacting the BT Premium email team and ask if they can check if it has been deleted and if they can reinstate it. You will need to pay £7.50 on a 30 day contract but if it can be reinstated you will be able to at least save your emails and notify your contacts while you decided what to do.
