I have occasionally had the BT SMTP server totally reject my mails when I am at a private address in Europe but today I have had a rejection saying I have sent too many emails from my IP address. If I wait a while it is OK. I am composing them manually so can't send more than about 3 or 4 in one minute and to single recipients. I am in France on Orange fibre to the cabinet.
Does anyone know if there any known rules regarding sending from outside UK or how many single mails per minute are allowed?
