The forum advice is to do nothing, no settings changes, no account removal, no app/client account removal etc. If webmail works, then that shows the account is functioning, hence the advice to do nothing with apps/clients.
My webmail works fine. My GMAIL account transferred across WITH NO ISSUES.
This is apparently according to previous forum responses not a Microsoft issue.
Previous advice says for me to stop using all devices (if more than one), turn off auto email checking. Make sure the settings are 100% correct. Then check every hour or so, but only check once. The issue can last a few hours to a few days. All of which have been done.
All I keep getting is the password box over and over again. The password is RIGHT?
Apparently this is a very frequent issue reported in these forums. So what's the ANSWER?????
Please ANYONE who has a working Outlook 365 / BT mail setup.
