What happens to all my files and folders with my current BT email account if I switch to a BT Basic email account
Solved! Go to Solution.
Nothing. The stay the same but can only be accessed using a web browser.
Thanks for instant reply to my very first posting...great that I can keep my files and folders.
One more question...bear in mind I am just an ordinary retired guy and my email is me to friends and families and they to me..... and for on line purchases...groceries ... prescriptions etc.
I take it there are no restrictions on this type of minimal usage and I will be able to use as now...

Everything is exactly the same as now except that you can only access mail via a web browser rather than a mail client or app on a smartphone.
See link about the BTMail types.

You must log onto the email account at least once per 150 days.
See usage policy.
