It will block all emails from that domain. I doubt that it would delete emails that were already stored else where than the Inbox but I could be wrong about that.
Yes thanks for your reply. It's curious that I've lost received and sent emails from and to the same person. I understand I could have deleted from my 'in' box but not from 'sent'. Mystery.
Check that you have not selected "Conversation View". Click on "Change View" at the right hand side. Click on "Conversation View" once to toggle it on or off.
