I use outlook to receive and send btinternet.com emails, since upgrading to windows 10 I have not been able to send emails they get stuck in the outbox. If i run the test account this works has anyone else had this problem does anyone know the solution?

This seems to be quite a common problem after upgrading to Windows 10. Most people have been able to fix it by opening a command prompt as administrator and running:
This finds and fixes some supposedly corrupt system files. After a reboot Outlook will send email again.
Thank you very much for this, I ran the scannow and it has worked after finding corrupt files. Having spent 20 mins on the phone to BT it would be very useful if they take note of this.
