I was moved to BT Mail yesterday and created the BT Id as requested. I tried to set up a sub account for my husband. I followed the instructions but can't see the Famiily and Friends button below my BT Id. I am the account holder. I even chatted on line and the chap there couldn't sort it out. Any ideas ?
You need to log onto MyBT with your BTID then scroll down to "My Extras" then click on "Manage BT Mail". This will take you into the section where you can create emails.
See these links for setting up a new email address for family or friends. once you get into that section.
I have tried all that and this is what I see and a button below saying 'Add email address' If I click it it says my password is not correct yet I have deleted it and re-entered it.
You can link any existing BT Mail address that is not already linked to your BT ID below.
Do you have the same password for your email address and BTID. If they are different try using the one that you have not been using.
You could also try and add the email address to your BTID. If you can do that you can then "gift" it to your husband.
