Can't add to Safe Sender list

I have tried to add several email addresses to my Safe Sender list, but I keep getting the message "Can't add alias as a Safe Sender". Any ideas what an alias is and how I overcome this?

Hi, @only2henry Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. That means you've previously added your own email address to the safe sender's list.

Go to the list and check if you have your own email in there already and if you do delete the rule. It could be listed using the @openworld.com or @btinternet.com domain as they're interchangeable. Let me know if that helps?

Thanks Neil. That certainly seems to have worked in terms of letting me add addresses. Hopefully that will now stop relevant stuff going to Spam.
