I joined BT a few months ago now. I can't seem to send emails (using my @live.com address) using the Mac Mail app. On o2 it was fine, I can send emails on my browser without any issues. If I use another internet connection I can send emails fine, so it seems as though its a problem with BT.
I rang a few minutes ago however the gentleman I spoke to wasn't English and was struggling to understand what I was saying to him. He said he could only help if I was using BT Yahoo email.
Incoming mail sever: pop3.live.com
Username: My email address which is @live.com
Outgoing mail server: Hotmail (Offline) - If I connect to a different wifi it works fine
Port: 995 Use SSL (ticked)
If anyone could shed any light on this it would be greatly appreciated.
