I am unable to log into the following webmail, my BT.com account or Yahoo groups, on my laptop
it is effecting the following login pages
anything it seems that uses signin1.bt.com
I get this message
This site can’t be reached
signin1.bt.com took too long to respond.
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
I have used the following browsers Chrome, TOR and Edge, cleared caches history etc. Running BT virus protect
Everything worked fine yesterday.
I can use my mobile to login into everything using WiFi , what is stopping from being able to login using the laptop.? However, I have managed to log into communities to write this using the laptop
Just tried to log in this morning can enter username and password, but then the loading spinning circle appears and the page sits there. If I load the page again I can get to the correct webpage. If I reboot the router it works fine, until I need to sign in again when I get the spinning circle after signing in. Any other suggestions
If you use a VPN on your laptop, try accessing bt.com/email without it. Are you on BT Broadband?
go to whatismyip.net on a browser and find the public ip address, google it to see if its got any listings associated with spamming or foreign listings etc. It sounds like you are being blocked for some reason...
I'm not blocked, when goto the sign page
then enter details the page goes to this
and hangs there. However if I enter the web address
which is where it should goto I can see the emails. Restarting the router solves this problem until I log out or get logged, when it comes back.
