Cannot receive email

My email has been working fine but yesterday a friend sent me an email but I didn't receive it - they said at their end it said email had been sent ( we are both on .btinternet.com email addresses and regularly send email to each other no problems).

I tried to SEND an email to them and that was fine . Friend tried to "reply" to this email but, again, I did not receive anything.

I have not changed anything and do not know what to do to solve this problem - anyone got any ideas???

Go to solution

Log onto your BTMail account using a browser, not an email client/app, and then click on your username at the right hand side. Select "Settings" then go to the left hand side and select "Mail". Scroll down and click on "Blocked Senders". Scroll down the list until you find the one you want to unblock and select it. Click on "delete".

Make sure you also look for the btinternet.com domain.( the part after@)

Also make sure that the "Conversation" View is not active. To do that log onto your BTMail account and click on "View" in the menu bar at the right hand side. Scroll down and Single click "conversation view" to toggle it on or off.

When you toggle it on or off you will see the name "Conversation View" change colour from grey to blue when it is turned on.

Just a follow up - found my email address had been blocked by mistake - now unblocked and added to safe senders all is ok
