Certificate Help

I keep receiving a Certificate Security Alert message when using Outlook.

I have attempted...

  • Reinstalling Outlook
  • Repairing Outlook installation
  • Confirming correct DNS settings with IT provider
  • Disabling Smart Setup on BT Home Hub
  • Installing the certificate
  • Manually importing the certificate into web browser

Still no luck though...My IT provider claim it's the routers fault and a new one would resolve the issue but that shouldn't need to be the case.

Please help.

Re: Certificate Help

@CertificateNightmare

I guess you must be a BT Business user as you are using Office365.

Please post on the BT Business forum.

Re: Certificate Help

Just a home user with Office365 business account.

My reference to support was a contract I have with an IT support company to help with general IT issues.

Re: Certificate Help

I doubt you will be able to get help here, as this board is for BT Residential Broadband email accounts only, in the format xxxxxx@btinternet.com

You would be better off posting on one of the Microsoft forums, as its seems more like an Outlook issue.
